In December 2019, at the MSNBC’s Public Education Forum, our own Denisha Jones, Co-Director of Defending the Early Years, asked then Presidential Candidate Joe Biden if he was committed to ending standardized testing in public schools if elected President. To hold him to that promise, DEY, along with over 70 other local, state, and national organizations have signed a letter to Secretary of Education Cardona, urging him to cancel the tests. Read the letter to Dr. Cardona here.
