The Hechinger Report says that Alabama First Class Pre-K stands out in the South as a premier program. The state will keep its commitment to invest enough money in the program to make it availabel to 70% of the state’s 4 year olds by 2025. Currently, it enrols about 44% of the state’s eligible 4 year olds.
