Texans Care for Children

Texans Care for Children works to develop policy solutions, produce research, and engage Texas community leaders to educate policymakers, the media, and the public about what works to improve the well-being of Texas children and families. The organization is funded by a variety of foundations and individual donations. Their work covers a wide range of issues, including child protective services, juvenile justice, mental well-being, maternal and child health, early childhood, and the ways that each of those policy areas works together to shape children’s lives and the future of Texas. They accomplish this by offering resources, advocating for policy change, and creating press releases.
