New Mexico Voices for Children

The mission of New Mexico Voices for Children is to “improve the status, well-being and racial/ethnic equity of New Mexico’s children, families, and communities in the areas of health, education, and economic security by promoting public policies through credible research and effective advocacy.” Through the three pillars of family economic security, cradle to career education and health care and healthy communities, the organization actively advocates for children’s well being in all areas of life. Each “issue area” covered on their website includes resources, featured content, and/or publications regarding the area. Issue areas include legislative policy, COVID-19 work, economic security and prosperity, education and early learning care, healthy and safe communities, tax fairness and budget adequacy, human rights and civic participation and racial and ethnic equity.
