Title: The Community Schools Act

Establishes the community schools act, which would establish:

1. A community schools grant program to fund the planning, implementation, development, and evaluation of community schools
2. Authorization for the commissioner to award grants to eligible school districts to implement programs related to academic, health, counseling, and/or legal services to these community schools

This bill encompasses early childhood education as a component of community schools. The grant program would also require there to be certain regulations and standards for community schools, to ensure that they are offering accessible and comprehensive services for families and students
