This introduced section of this bill requires that students who have been suspended or expelled from school receive relevant classwork, accesses to courses potentially available in other locations, and any needed support services (including mental, behavioral, and educational services). The bill also states that for any student who is suspended or expelled but has been receiving meals from the school, at no cost to the student, the student is still provided the meals from the school that would otherwise have been provided had there not been an expulsion or suspension.
