PATCH Hawaii, or People Attentive to Children, is a community service organization dedicated to supporting Hawaii’s childcare needs. They offer free resources on for families on choosing and paying for childcare, childhood development, parenting, becoming a childcare provider, and more. They do this by holding webinars, connecting families to other organizations, and offering scholarships to college students taking early childhood classes. PATCH also collects statistical data related to child care supply and demand, as well as quality- this information is provided to state government, community planners, and policymakers.
