Three soldiers are returning home from the war, they are tired and hungry and just want a place to sleep at night. They come upon a village of peasants and ask for food. The peasants claim not to have any food to eat themselves. This is a clever story of how three soldiers teach a village of peasants how to share and take care of each other.
