Advocacy Map
We believe that all children deserve a just, equitable and quality early childhood education. We know that with the current education landscape, the only way to make this happen is to educate and inform teachers, administrators and parents about how children develop and learn best . We advocate for active, playful, experiential approaches to learning that is grounded in and informed by child development theory and evidence-based research.
This interactive map offers resources about early childhood education at the individual state level as well as specific topic areas nationally. Here you can find state policy initiatives and legislation focused on #ECE as well as ally organizations who are working on specific areas. You can either click on a state to see the areas that are being addressed, and how or you can choose a topic (e.g. Recess or Play-based Learning) to see what states have initiatives in place or in the pipeline.
What’s happening in your state? What organizations or initiatives or policies are happening that we missed? Let us know!
